I know we are still discussing our first book but thought we could maybe start thinking about our next one. We have had a request for Prince Among Ponies or Janet Must Ride. Anyone fancy either of these/got the books. I am happy with either of these choices, let me know what the rest of you think.

I would like Prince Among Ponies as I don't have a copy of Janet Must Ride any more and Prince Among Ponies is an interesting and provocative one. I would like to do the Henry and Noel series and the Woodbury series at some time (in sections of course).

Yes, I must say would like Prince as havent read it in yonks. I think it would be nice if we did one each of the PT sisters then we could compare their styles. Yes Fizz i agree we MUST do the Noel and henry books some time in the future.

Oh YES please. Prince among Ponies is one of the ones that I practically know by heart, as I read it at least twice a year!! Good contrast to the BPI as well, as I think it excels in the points I criticised them on.(Oooops sorry, jumping the gun again!)

Just to let you know as we seem in concensus of opinion bout Prince Among Ponies, I will set it up as our next reading circle book. This time I will try and set up the poll and thread together. I think the book is a good choice as it has a lot of interesting stuff in it, also garej has already reviewed it in her blog so maybe she could add in a few comments!

Not sure if they are different. I have never actually read any hardback edition. Maybe you could read the hb exmoorfan (and anyone else who has hb) and we could compare with the pb. Really looking forward to this one! (OK OK I need to get out more )

Hi all pbnerds! ;D Time for us to start thinking about the next book to discuss. I thought we could do one of Diana's next which would give us one from all 3 PTs. Any suggestions?

I Wanted a Pony or one of the others in the Augusta/Christina set. (But not only a pony) I gave Janet Must Ride away, always thought it was one of Christina's, seems different to most of Diana's.

Hi all pbnerds! ;D Time for us to start thinking about the next book to discuss. I thought we could do one of Diana's next which would give us one from all 3 PTs. Any suggestions? Janet Must Ride or I Wanted A Pony is a good one. I have a duplicate of Janet Must Ride if anyone doesn't have a copy, and I Wanted A Pony is easy to find. If you are going to go for the Sandy and Fergus series or the Ponyseekers series, it is best that you go for the first in each series. I personally love The Boy and The Donkey/The Donkey Race, but it can be hard to find, so that may prove difficult.

Janet Must Ride is OK by me tho I warn you haffyfan its not my favourite so will prob be getting up your nose again by criticising it ;D My favs to do would be I Wanted a Pony or Riding With the Lyntons, but dont mind doing Janet as havent read it as any times as the others.
Garej I love the Boy and the Donkey too but you are right I dont think everyone will have it.

Garej I love the Boy and the Donkey too but you are right I dont think everyone will have it. Yeah it took me a fair while to track down the Donkey Race book and even longer to track it down as "The Boy and the Donkey" (I have it twice; published under both names).

I've got Janet Must ride and any of the pony seekers trilogy.
Having said that I do really like I wanted a pony - but not able to get to my copy at moment.
Or maybe we should read Riding with the Lyntons and compare Jane and Annette - both fairly annoying!
