Sorry - been meaning to do clues - but had a s****y week at work - too many problem children/parents(!) in my class. Clues: (if I can find the books) 1 - author AR - similar title as one of the Gillian Baxter books (pantomine ponies series) 4 Author - MW. - an exciting true story about one man's ambition to start a pony ranch in the Welsh Border Country. 5 - Author EM; horses - Buzz, Yarrawa and Nooroo. 6 - Author - CS - illustrated by Cecil Trew - about a girl's ambition to have a riding school. 8 - Author - JVDV (!) American story about two children who hide a mare and colt to stop them being shot. (American) 9 - Title has a breed of native pony in it. 10 - A regal revolutionary!!! 11 - Author - JD - a New Zealand story based on a pilot TV programme. 12 Author - GTE - a story of children and ponies on a ranch in America featuring a Palomino. 14 Haffyfan has nearly got this. 19 A very famous horse story - Author - AS

Exmoor lass? Skewbald or Son Of Skewbald? None of mine have wrappers. He did one about British Ponies too wild and free or something like but I always assumed it was non fictional?
